Tirana car hire through this site comes three ways: delivered to an address in the city, collected at one of the rental offices, or picked up at the Tirana Airport pick-up point. All three are in the same search, with each car's own deposit, card rule and cancellation terms shown before you book.
Can a hire car be delivered to my hotel in Tirana?
Yes, on cars offered with City delivery. Choose Tirana as the pick-up, open Specify location and pick City delivery, or use the City delivery filter; the results then show only cars that come to an address in the city.

Is there a rental office to collect from?
The search lists a third pick-up option for Tirana, "At one of the rental offices". Where that office is for a particular car is a question for its rental company, whose contact details come by email after booking.
Airport pick-up or city delivery?
Tirana International Airport is 17 kilometres outside the city, and the routed drive from the airport pick-up to Skanderbeg Square is about 25 minutes in free-flowing traffic. The airport and City delivery are separate lists of cars in the search.
City delivery brings the car to an address in Tirana instead. Switching Specify location between the two shows each list, with its prices, for the same dates.

An advance of 15 to 20% of the rental cost is paid online when you book. The rest is paid to the rental company at the handover, whether that is at your address, an office or the airport.
A booking cancels without penalty up to 7 days before the rental starts (30 days for luxury cars and convertibles), or up to 24 hours before on cars with the Free cancellation option. A cancellation keeps the 6% payment service fee.
Do I need a credit card for car hire in Tirana?
Some cars require a physical embossed credit card in the main driver's name, brought to the handover. Some rental companies accept a debit card, stated during booking and on the voucher. The "No credit card" filter shows only cars marked as not requiring one, and it works the same for hire cars collected at Tirana Airport.
Deposits are set per car. The search has a "No deposit" filter and a "Low deposit under 100€" filter, and some cars accept the deposit in cash.
Can I pick up in Tirana and leave the car on the coast?
Yes, on cars that allow a one-way return. From Tirana, cars come back to Durrës, Golem, Vlorë, Himarë, Sarandë and Ksamil on the coast, and to Shkodër, Berat, Gjirokastër and Korçë inland. The price in the search includes the one-way charge for the chosen car. The nearest of those cities is Durrës, 35 minutes from the airport, and a car for Durrës can be booked one-way from Tirana or kept for the return.
Which routes from Tirana can a hire car not take?
The Albania terms prohibit hire cars on the route from Tirana to Qafë-Shtamë Nature Park through Lake Bovilla, and on the route from Krujë to Burreli through Qafë-Shtamë Nature Park. Qafë-Shtamë Nature Park itself is a prohibited region.
Hire cars may use paved public roads only, and no insurance is valid on a prohibited route or in a prohibited region.
Who pays for fuel, parking and fines?
The renter pays for fuel, parking, fines and toll roads. The car goes back with the fuel level it had at the handover; a lower level is charged at the rental company's rates.
